I work out at the local Snap Fitness and find it to be just what it says: Fast, conveniant and affordable. The equipment (Cybex) is top notch with much to offer. They are springing up all over Minnesota and I have used many of them through their reciprocity program. I find that all of them are very clean, well light and affordable. No waiting! I love them!

Anyone who is thinking about purchasing a Butterfly Life should stop immediately and definitely do your due deligence before signing any franchise agreement. Go to http://www.franchisepick.com to read the unfortunate experiences surrounding these scammers. Or contact the American Association of Franchisees and Dealers at http://www.aafd.org to get the real truth. Legal action has been pending for three years and has finally been filed as a counter class action arbitration against BFL and Mark Golob and Tom Gergley personally. The Butterfy Life Franchise Association was formed in 2005 to help mediate issues that were promised to the franchisees but never came to fruition. Please, do not believe anything they tell you verbally unless it is in writing!!!!! We’ve been told that Golob and Gergey are using their same tactics, as they did when they began in 2003, to drain innocent victims of their life savings. READ, READ, READ AND THEN HAVE YOUR ATTORNEY READ THE FRANCHISE AGREEMENT…It only protects the franchisor and not you, the franchisee! There has also been a complaint filed with the California Department of Corporations that is pending further investigation. Hopefully, most of the victims in the United States will recognize the name and stay far away from this franchise if they want to retain their savings, retirement, homes and lives. INTERNATIONAL FRANCHISEES should be equally aware of these cons. Franchise laws in other parts of the world are just being born, and too general to protect most franhisees. BFL is incorporated in California, and we are thankful that the laws in this state are more protective of the franhisee than anyother state or country. Golob and Gergly will be at the International Franchise Expo in DC in April, hoping to pass on their scam to other countries. DON’T BE FOOLED……and no, our association is not made up of disgruntled franchisees as they would like you to believe. BE SMART AND DO YOUR DUE DELIGENCE BEFORE YOU GIVE THEM YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY……..ONCE THEY GET IT, ALL THEIR PROMISES WILL EVAPORATE…..OH YES, WHEN YOU READ THE UFOC, YOU WILL NEVER BE ABLE TO DECIPHER THE “FAILED” OR “NEVER OPENED” LOCATIONS UNLESS YOU CONTACT THE AAFD THAT WILL PUT YOU IN TOUCH WITH PAST OWNERS WHO WILL BE EXTREMELY INFORMATIVE. BE CAUTIOUS AND WISE!!!!!!!!!!Don’t be sorry like so many other franchisees who did’t pay attention to this message years ago.
